Management Alumnus of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi and the most Awarded Entrepreneur of the State with 20 plus years’ experience in Information Technology Services in India and Overseas. Co-founder of Luminous Infoways, recognized as the Brand of Odisha-Pride of India employing over a thousand people and has developed clientele in India, US, UK, Middle East, Africa, Norway, New Zealand and Australia. Her name is behind best practices and Key IT initiatives such as National e-Governance ward winner RTI Central Monitoring Mechanism acclaimed by World Bank, E-Blood banking system and ESDM Portal of Govt. of India. Inducted as the Member, Start-up Task force, Govt of Odisha, she advises thousands of startups towards scale and growth. She has contributed most to the industrial ecosystem as the prominent lady entrepreneur. She has held the key positions in Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Odisha State Council Convenor Innovations & Startups, Convenor IT Panel; Founding Chairwoman CII-IWN; President - Private school and children welfare ssociation Odisha and Mentor of Reputed Incubators & Speaker at various National & International forums. Her other concerns include the revolutionary Next Gen Trust aiming to bring the best skills and research in Odisha. Her vocational excellence has won her STPI exports award for leading woman entrepreneur 2013 and 2023, Woman IT leader promoting women in MSME and the best IT service provider by CII and Govt of India.

She and her spouse PP Rtn Tanmay Mohanty joined the Rotary Club, as “first Rotary couple” of the Rotary club of Bhubaneswar. Her rise in the Rotary world has been meteoric. She chartered the unique Rotary E-Club of District 3262 connecting 7 countries, launched impact-oriented women empowerment programmes, TSD car rallies, Cancer care programmes, formed Rotary-corporate interface and successfully executed Global grants benefitting 1000 plus women. She was the part of “Team Pratham” a special Task force of Rotarians involved in promoting and championing the activities of Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM). Her Innovative projects “Walls of wisdom” and “Project Red Pride” has earned her much respect. She is instrumental in sponsoring and motivating around 500 members, women, young professionals and students to join Rotary and Rotaract in different clubs of the World. Her dedication to service has earned her Platinum President, Outstanding Assistant Governor, Exemplary Rotary Leader, first woman District Trainer and the first woman Rotarian in the district to receive the Prestigious RI recognition for “Five Avenues of Service”. Odisha is proud of seeing her elected as the first Lady Rotary Governor in year 2023-24 after 76 years of Rotary’s service in Odisha. Hailing from an Army Background with father Col (R) Dr Manmohan Mohanty, she is a woman of strong will, discipline, compassion and traditional values. A mother of two, Tejal (daughter) studying in class XII Sc at ODM Public School and Tejas (Son) studying in XIth Commerce at Sai International School. Her philosophy in life is “As individuals we are a drop, together we are an ocean”. It is with this emotion, 23 years ago, she chose the life of Entrepreneurship setting aside the options of Joining as an Army Officer and a Lucrative career option in a Multi-National Conglomerate. Seen as the face of women entreneurship in Odisha, mentoring industries, her journey inspires and promotes women to be community and organizational leaders in the society.
